Linda Lee Troxell Drummonds, age 75, of Strasburg passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at her home surounded by her loving family.

Graveside rites will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2018 at Fishers Hill Cemetery with Rev. Buster Doman officiating.

Mrs. Drummonds was born July 9, 1943 in Woodstock, a daughter of the late James S. and Edna Pryor Troxell. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Strasburg, a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was devoted to her family. She was the wife of the late Homer L. Drummonds, Jr.

Surviving are her children, Cheri Miller and husband, Ricky, Nancy Whetzel, Todd Drummonds and Linda Horn and husband, Doug, all of Strasburg; her siblings, Shirley Giles of Harrisburg, NC, James "Jimmy" Troxell and wife, Dixie of Strasburg, Boyd "Peanut" Troxell and wife, Paula, of Strasburg, Jerry Troxell and wife, Pat of Rocky Mount, NC, Jean Reil of Front Royal and Jackie Troxell and wife, Judy of Strasburg. She was predeceased by a sister, Helen Mitchell; her grandchildren, Michelle Pangle, Nicki Judy and husband, Ryan, Sheila Kibler and husband, Brian, Ashley Rhodes and husband, David, Tony Whetzel and companion, Mikayla, Noel Drummonds and companion, Jeremy, Kiera Drummonds, T.J. Drummonds and Britany Edge; her great-grandchildren, Kylee Davis, Madyson Judy, Noah and Jack Kibler, Zoey, Mason and Bryson Rhodes, Michael Edge and Gavin Deahl; and special aunt and "mom", Hilda Troxell of Woodstock.

Pallbearers will be Todd Drummonds, Doug Horn, Ricky Miller, T.J. Drummonds, Tony Whetzel and Jeremy Mongold.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Linda T. Drummonds burial fund, c/o of Stover Funeral Home, 177 N. Holliday St., Strasburg, VA 22657.
