Wilma Walton

Wilma Lee Walton 67 of Strasburg, VA passed away Monday, May 23, 2022, at Winchester Medical Center. 

A graveside service for Mrs. Walton will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Riverview Cemetery with Rev. Bill Erbach officiating.  

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m.

Wilma was born in Woodstock, VA on May 8, 1955, a daughter of the late Osa Clement and Gernia Catherine Vanmeter Judy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters. 

Survivors include her husband William Edward “Eddie” Walton; her two daughters Michelle Vest (Glenn) and Becky Costello; her grandchildren Andres Gonzalez, Kaitlyn Vest, Brady Vest, Toliver Costello, Kelsey Costello and Olivia Costello; four great grandchildren; her siblings Audrey Kibler (Guy) and BJ Whittington (Charles) along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Flowers will be accepted or those who wish may make memorial contributions to Valley Health Cancer Center Foundation, 220 Campus Blvd, Suite 402A, Winchester, VA 22601.
