Wayne Neff age 50, a resident of Hendersonville, NC and formerly of Strasburg, VA passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011. A graveside service for Mr. Neff will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Walnut Springs Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Wendell Schurtz officiating. He was born in Shenandoah County on January 14, 1961 the son of Donnie Shifflet and Beatrice L. Neff. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Dawn Neff. Surviving with his parents are his children, Teresa Ann Bowley of Strasburg, Christopher Neff of Bowling Green, KY, and Matthew Neff of Clayton, NC; his siblings, Larry Neff of Hendersonville, NC, Donna Miller of Wardensville, WV, and Lonna Davis of Woodstock, VA; Special Friend, Belinda "Sambo" Firpi. Family & Friends will serve as pallbearers The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 P.M. The family asks that flowers be omitted and memorial contribution be made to the Wayne Neff Memorial Fund, 177 N. Holliday Street, Strasburg, VA 22657.
