Wade Blakely Ferguson, a resident of Middletown, VA passed away Wednesday, in Winchester, VA. A funeral service for Mr. Ferguson will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Brookhill Baptist Church, 4725 Bandy Road, Roanoke, VA with Pastor Nathan Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Bandy Cemetery, Roanoke. He was born in Roanoke County, VA on October 19, 1937 a son of the late Calvin Wade and Sallie Dodson Ferguson. He attended Brookhill Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Elks Lodge since 1973, Life Member of the NRA, a member of the 4-H National Congress, Charter member of the Rotary Club of Frederick County, Berryville Moose Lodge 2139 since 1992, and his second home was with Four-U-Transportation since 1993 with all his friends and co-workers. Survivors include his loving wife, Sue Garrett Ferguson of Middletown, VA; his sons, Joey Ferguson and wife, Susan, David Ferguson and wife Alice all of Roanoke, VA; his grandsons, Derek Ferguson and wife, Sheena, Stephen Ferguson, and Matthew Ferguson; his great-grandson, Carson Wade Ferguson; sisters, Sylvia Payne and husband, Eugene, Vonda Webb and husband Gary all of Roanoke, VA. Pallbearers will be David Ferguson, Joe Ferguson, Derek Ferguson, Stephen Ferguson, Matthew Ferguson, Trace Webb. The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6-8 P.M.
