Tonya Shawn Grandison 53, of Woodstock, VA passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at her residence. A Memorial service for Tonya Grandison will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 5, 2015 in the Stover Memorial Chapel with Pastor Larese M. Brooks, D.D. officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. She was born in Petersburg, WV on February 26, 1964 a daughter of the late Eddie Richard and Rosetta Beckwith Grandison. She was a caregiver and of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two siblings, Debbie Johnson and Crystal Merit. Survivors include her companion of 35 years, Terry Baker; her siblings, Eddie Paige of Washington DC, Cathy Sloan and husband Walt of Wellsville, OH and Shelia Clinedinst and husband, Gary of Strasburg, VA; numerous nieces and nephews and her cat, Precious. Honorary pallbearers will be Casey Ruebush and Therese Needham. The family will receive friends on Saturday one hour prior to the service at Stover Funeral Home.
