On Wednesday, July 4, 2018, Sherri Knapp, wife, mother, daughter and sister, passed away suddenly at the age of 47. A Celebration of Life for Sherri will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Restoration Fellowship Church, 2128 John Marshall Highway, Strasburg, VA. A reception of family and friends will be held at Signal Knob Middle School, Immediately following the service. Sherri was born in Washington D.C. on April 26, 1971 a daughter of Thomas Robert "Tom" and Linda DeHart Carver. Sherri worked as a secretary at Signal Knob Middle School in Strasburg where she was loved and adored by her co-workers and the student body. Sherri will be forever loved and remembered by her loving husband Dan Knapp, their two sons, Jacob and Adam; her beloved parents, Tom and Linda Carver; her siblings, Christina "Chrissy" Carver, Tom "Tommy" Carver, Jr. and Michael Rickard as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. Sherri was loved by so many because she freely, unselfishly and unconditionally loved others.
