Sean McCormick Obituary

Sean Christopher McCormick, known to many as “Levi”, age 64, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022.  

A memorial gathering for Sean will be held at Stover Funeral Home on Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.  A eulogy will be given at 7:00 p.m. by Tom Thompson.  

Sean was born in Washington DC on October 16, 1957, a son of the late Robert Nicholas and Eva Mae Mauck McCormick who were of Middletown, VA.   Sean was of the Catholic faith, worked for Fairfax County Government as a Network Analyst for the Department of Information Technology, an antique dealer, and had a passion for his hot rods.

In addition to his parents, Sean was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Sean McCormick. 

Levi is survived by his siblings, Michael Stephen McCormick of Frederick County, VA,  Deborah Ann McCormick of Shenandoah County, VA; a niece, Eliza Kutrieb of Shenandoah County and stepdaughters Gretchen Beavers of Canton Ohio, Emerald Grippa of Richmond Va and Cisco Grippa of New Hampshire.  

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sean to a charity of one’s choice.
