Sandra Louise (Terrell) Harris

Sandra Louise Harris, 72, of Strasburg, VA passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center.

Sandra, the wife of a soldier, a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was born in Winchester, VA on November 5, 1952, a daughter of the late Robert Lewis and Bessie Louise Hodson Terrell.  Sandra was the most caring, loving, and inspiring woman who always encouraged everyone to become better, accomplish your goals, never doubt yourself or give up.  She was the kindest soul you could have ever come upon.  No matter who you were, you were someone to Sandra as she never met a stranger.  She gave everyone anything that she could; even if she did not have much to share, she would always find a way to give more.  She lived a life that we all so deeply admired, with a heart bigger than life.  She was loved by many and will be cherished forever.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Patrick Vincent Harris and her siblings Nancy McCabe, Thomas Terrell, and Lewis Terrell.

Survivors include her children Margaret Harris, Robert Harris, Patrick Harris, Shannon Sites, and Christopher Carswell; 12 grandchildren including Madia Gonzalez and Seth Harris; five great grandchildren; her sister Alice Chevez, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of cherished friends.

A celebration of life for Sandra will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Restoration Fellowship with Pastor Scott Priest officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
