Ruth Ann Shipe 72 of Front Royal, VA passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 at Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, VA. Services and burial for Mrs. Shipe will be conducted privately. Mrs. Shipe was born in Alexandria, VA on January 20, 1946 a daughter of the late L. R. "Dick" and Ruth Anna Green Davison. The family moved back to Strasburg when she was two years old. Ruth spent many years working with wildlife rehabilitation. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Leann Athey. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Charles William "Bubby" Shipe of Front Royal, VA; two children, Charles Richard Shipe and wife Nina and Susan L. Conner and husband Curtis along with seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made directly to the family to assist with medical bills occurred during her illness.
