A Celebration of Life for Ronnie will be held in the spring for friends and family. The date and time will be announced on the Facebook “Remembering Ronnie Rinker” page.
Ronnie was born February 8, 1966 in Woodstock, Virginia, the son of Ronald Allen Rinker Sr. and the late Janet Louise Davis Rinker. He was a graduate of Central High School.
Ronnie was a devoted husband, son, father, and brother. Everyone who met him became a friend, and it seemed that included nearly the entire population of Shenandoah County. He worked as a welder at Penn Drill Company, and enjoyed spending time in the outdoors as an avid hunter and fisherman. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Christine Desiree Rinker; children Ronald Rinker III, Destine Johnson (Anthony), and Joseph Rinker, all of Woodstock; Katie Gombos Rinker of Richmond; Alexander Walliser of Edinburg; sister Robin Huffman (Tommy) of Edinburg; four beloved grandchildren; three nieces, one nephew; and three great-nieces and one great-nephew.
