Ronald E. Berry

Ronald E. Berry, 81, of Strasburg, VA passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Lynn Care of Front Royal, VA. 

Mr. Berry was born in Barton, Maryland on December 1, 1942, a son of the late Irvin Noel Berry and the late Neva Llewellyn Berry Matthews.  He was a member of the Mt. Hope Presbyterian Church and retired from Avtex Fibers/Federal Mogul Corp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Helen Virginia McDonald Berry. 

Survivors include his son Bradley Berry of Front Royal, VA; stepchildren Benny Vann (Sophia) of Pittsburgh, PA, Cindy Elliott (Andy) of Strasburg, VA, and Kevin Vann (Tara) of Strasburg; two brothers Robert Berry of Easton, MD, and James Berry of Frankford, DE along with several nieces and nephews. 

A funeral service for Mr. Berry will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Stover Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. 

Pallbearers will be Benny Vann, Kevin Vann, Andy Baker, Jon Gnegy, Gene McDonald, and Scotty McDonald.
