Roland William Spiker, Sr.

Roland William Spiker, Sr., 77, of Middletown, VA passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at his home in Middletown.  Our heartache and sadness are lessened knowing that this special man has found the love, joy, peace, and comfort with the savior he was always thankful for and surrounded by the love of the family he made.

Roland was born on February 25, 1948, a son of the late Preston Isaiah and Anna Virginia Wymer Spiker and was veteran of the U.S. Navy.  In addition to his parents Roland was preceded in death by siblings Mary Rudolph, Mae Miller, Gladys Ritenour, Sam Spiker, Rebecca Hoover, and J.L. Watts “Brother” 

Roland was married to Sylvia Ann Drummond Spiker for 52 years.  Roland is also survived by his children Roland William Spiker, Jr. “Will” and Julie Ann Spiker “Sug”; his grandchildren Kaylee Ann Spiker (Zach), Devon Gray Spiker (Kaela), Isabella Jo Michaels, and Brady William Spiker; his sisters Juanita Watts, Esther Cooper (Bill), “Sister” Cindy Beydler; brother-in-law Robert Miller and Rosie.

Services and burial for Mr. Spiker will be held privately.
