Robert Earl "Bob" Willey, Jr., age 80 of Strasburg passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital, Woodstock.
A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Strasburg Christian Church with Rev. Rob Lovett officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Strasburg.
Mr. Willey was born May 21, 1938 in Strasburg, the son of the late Robert Earl "Skeeter" Willey, Sr. and Miriam Elaine Wolfe "Sis" Willey. He was a life member of the Strasburg Christian Church where he served as Elder and a member of the Men's Fellowship. He was a charter member of the Strasburg Volunteer Rescue Squad, a past Worship Master of Spurmont Masonic Lodge No. 98, Strasburg and a former Strasburg Town Councilman.
Bob was a 1956 graduate of Strasburg High School and graduated from the Medical College of Virginia School of Pharmacy. He was a former co-owner of Peoples Drug Store and had been a pharmacist for 59 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kay Polk Willey, an infant son and his son, Curtis Edwin Willey.
Surviving are his daughters, Crystal Willey Keller and husband, Andrew and Carla Willey Scott and husband, Dannie, all of Strasburg; his daughter-in-law, Brittany W. Willey of Monmouth, Maine; his grandchildren, Brandon Keller and wife, Kara, Ellie Scott and husband, Aaron Milgrim, Colt Scott, Emmeline P. Willey, Delaney G. Willey and Bailey J. Willey; two great-grandchildren, Owen and Reese Keller; and his special friend, Ann Willey Scott.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Keller, Brandon Keller, Dannie Scott, Colt Scott, Aaron Milgrim, Mario Ordonez and Ellie Scott.
The family will receive family and friends at Stover Funeral Home, 177 N. Holliday St., Strasburg on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.
