Robert Bruce Wald age 50, a resident of Strasburg, VA passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at his residence. A funeral service for Robert will be conducted at 1:00 P.M Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Stover Memorial Chapel with Rev. Sonya Williams-Gerisch officiating. He was born in Washington DC on May 24, 1965 a son of Bruce and Elizabeth Edler Wald of Arlington, VA. Robert was an employee of Thermo-Fisher Scientific of Middletown, VA. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Kelly L. Wald of Strasburg, VA; his children, Heather Wald and Adam Wald both of Falls Church, VA; his siblings, Heidi Byerly of Burke, VA, Peter Wald, Matthew Wald and Michael Wald all of Arlington, VA; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at 1:00 P.M.
