Robert William Mann, age 74, of Strasburg passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the VA Medical Center, Martinsburg, West Virginia, where he was in the extraordinarily compassionate care of the hospice staff.

There will be a small private service here in Virginia with Bob's extended family; ultimately, Bob's wish that his ashes be scattered at a favorite location in Idaho will be granted.

Bob was born June 6, 1943 in Seattle, Washington, the son of the late Charles William and Grace Winifred Hall Mann. He served in the United States Navy, was a successful businessman, an avid outdoorsman and lived in and loved life in the West for most of his life.

Surviving are his wife, Christine Morrissey Mann; a son, Jason W. Mann and wife, Danielle of Casper, Wyoming: two grandchildren, Bobby and Sammy Mann; and a son, Jeremy Mann.
