Rebecca "Becky" Ann (Warren) Carbaugh

Rebecca Ann Warren Carbaugh, 78, of Toms Brook, VA passed away Friday, May 10, 2024, at her home in Toms Brook.

Becky or Tator, as she was affectionately known by her family and friends, was born in Woodstock, VA on March 11, 1946, a daughter of the late John David and Mildred Rebecca White Warren.  Becky enjoyed retirement immensely, often joking that everyone should try it once.  She enjoyed gardening, reading, and cross-stitching. Tate loved to travel.  Hearing the keys jingle made her tail wag, she often joked.  She loved playing games with family and friends and watching those damn Redskins every football season, often agreeing with her son, “This is their year”.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Frederick Carbaugh.

Survivors include her son Richard F. Carbaugh, II; her daughters Teresa L. Carbaugh and Tracie L. Carbaugh and one grandson Adam R. Carbaugh.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Tuesday (5/14/24) evening from 6-8 p.m.  Mrs. Carbaugh will be laid to rest privately. 

The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601.
