Raymond Guy Colgan

Raymond Guy Colgan, 74, of Star Tannery, VA passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025, at his home in Star Tannery, VA.

Mr. Colgan was born in Pennsylvania on February 11, 1951, the son of the late Richard R. and Edith Elizabeth Evanah Deyarmin Colgan. He worked as a heavy equipment operator.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Colgan and Patrick Beckel. 

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Colgan; children Stephanie James (Joe), Lucinda Long, Karen Colgan, Martin Colgan, Bobie Jo Kaelin, Duane Colgan, Lori Ruffner (Mike), and Roxanne Miller (Billy); 19 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; his siblings Lucille Patterson, Lois Leamer, and Mark Beckel along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

At the request of Mr. Colgan services and burial will be held privately.
