Ray Jackson Himelright

Ray Jackson Himelright 84, of Strasburg, VA passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at his residence.

Mr. Ray Himelright was born May 13, 1940, in Strasburg, VA, the son of the late Ray Ruben Himelright and Grace Elizabeth Senseney Brown. Ray married the love of his life on September 29, 1957, Patsy Jean Polk Himelright.  He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, horse racing, and gardening. He will be missed by all.

Survivors include wife of 68 years Patsy Jean Polk Himelright, children, William Lloyd Himelright, Barbara McDonald, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren, one sister Sherry Artz along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

 In addition to his parents, Mr. Himelright is preceded in death by several siblings.

Services and burial for Mr. Himelright will be conducted privately.
