Polly M. McDonald

Polly McDonald, 89, of Strasburg, VA went to be with her savior Jesus Christ Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Front Royal, VA.

Mrs. McDonald was born in Moorefield, WV on March 14, 1936, a daughter of the late Lorenzo and Dora Fitzwater Ketterman. She was one of fourteen children. Polly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  Service to others was a big part of her life. Her relationship with the lord was paramount in her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carlton McDonald.

Survivors include her children Randall L. Mumaw (Cindy), Gary A. Mumaw, Robin A. Mumaw (Special friends Shane & Barry); her grandchildren Robert Mumaw (Ashley), Jessie Collins (Will); her great grandchildren Mykenna Lang (Ty), Nathan Mumaw (Jordan), Rylee Mumaw, Nash Mumaw; her great-great grandchildren Sawyer, Wyatt, Halston and Dawson.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 3, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The celebration of life for Mrs. McDonald will be held at 3:00 p.m.  with Pastor Bobby Funkhouser officiating.  Mrs. McDonald will be laid to rest privately.
