Paul “Tommy” Cameron, age 85, a resident of Strasburg, VA passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at his residence.
A funeral service for Mr. Cameron will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Stover Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Haynes, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Cameron was born in Strasburg, VA on June 28, 1935 a son of the late Leo Robert and Mattie Anderson William Cameron. He was a life member of Strasburg United Methodist Church and the Strasburg Moose Lodge. Mr. Cameron and his wife owned and operated Cameron’s Exxon in Strasburg for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Lucy Fultz, Robert Cameron and Patsy Rutz.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Gilmer Cameron; his children, Vicky Cameron McDonald (Gene), and Paula Cameron Judy (A.J.) all of Strasburg, VA; his grandchildren G. Scott McDonald (Samantha), Amanda McDonald Wiseley (Eric), Ryan Allen Judy (Nicki), and Brent Cameron Judy (Staci); his great-grandchildren, Cortney, Gracie, Madyson, Patchrick, Kiersten, Brynna, Claire, and Cameron.
Pallbearers will be Scott McDonald, Ryan Judy, Brent Judy, A.J. Judy, Bill Warner, Amanda Wiseley and Nicki Judy.
The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m.
