Paul Funk

Paul Funk 56, a resident of Strasburg, VA passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Winchester Medical Center.

A memorial service for Mr. Funk will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2021 at Stover Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Funk was born in Woodstock, VA on November 2, 1964 a son of Margaret Ann Drummond Funk of Strasburg, and the late Keith Vance Funk.  He was a former employee of the Strasburg Press where he worked for nearly 40 years.  In addition to his father he was preceded in death by several uncles and aunts  Lewis “Sonny” Drummond (Connie), William Funk (Ellen), Lloyd Funk, Grayson Funk, and George Funk.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his “Sweetie” Brenda Corbin; his two daughters, Jessica Funk and Gabrielle Funk both of Stephens City, VA; his grandson Maddox Novian; his two sisters June Symons of White Post, VA, and Kim Holliday (Randy) of Strasburg, VA; his uncles and aunts,  Randy Drummond (Avis) of Lebanon Church, VA, Janet Marrota (Sal) of FLA, Ivan Funk (Edna) of Front Royal, VA, David Funk (Peggy) of MD, Sandy Funk of Fort Valley, VA, Becky Madigan of Woodstock, VA,  along with his beloved pup “Frankie”.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
