Paul Camarata

Paul Camarata, 90, of Strasburg, VA and formerly of Lakewood, NY passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025, at his home in Strasburg, VA.

Mr. Camarata was born in Jamestown, NY on June 22, 1934, a son of the late Joseph Russel and Cathryn Hough Camarata.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and member of the V.F.W. Post 2447 in Edinburg, VA. Mr. Camarata was a retired Machinist Mechanic having worked in ball bearing manufacturing.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Jack Camarata, Donald Camarata, and Ronald Camarata. 

Survivors include his wife Eleanor Lind Camarata of Strasburg, VA; his two sons, Paul Camarata (Natalie) of Centerville, VA and Bryan Camarata (Jocelyn) of Charlottesville, VA; his grandchildren Michael Camarata, Jessica Camarata, Jacob Camarata, and Henry Camarata.  

A funeral mass of Christian burial for Mr. Camarata will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Winchester, Virginia.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
