Patrick Rafael Scoles

Patrick Rafael Scoles, 79, of Toms Brook, VA, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family.

A funeral service for Mr. Scoles will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Monday, October 4, 2021, at Stover Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Haynes, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.  

Patrick was born on November 26, 1941, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  He was preceded in death by his parents, David Lambert Scoles and Agnes Adeline Danielson Scoles, and his siblings, David Michael Scoles, Evelyn Mae Ryan, and Tara Deidre Sikes.

He graduated from Seacrest High School in Delray Beach, FL.  He worked as an electronic field service technician, sold insurance, worked as a landscaper at a country club and was a front-end supervisor with Home Depot.
He was an avid bowler, world traveler and bird watcher.

Patrick is survived by his wife of 52 years Ann Scoles; two sons Shawn Scoles of Pasadena, MD, and Damian Scoles (Debora) of Naperville, IL and three grandchildren Nicholas, Sarah, and Matthew of Naperville, IL.
