Patrick Richard Kevin Meade

Patrick Richard Kevin Meade 80 of Toms Brook, VA passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at his residence. 

A funeral mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2022, at St. John Bosco Catholic Church with Father Augustine Tran officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Winchester, VA.  Full military honors will be presented by the Shenandoah American Legion Post 77 Strasburg, VA.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m.

Mr. Meade was born in Glen cove, NY on March 10, 1942, a son of the late Edmund Patrick and Cecilia Plunkett Meade.  He was a member of the St. John Bosco Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Verizon where he worked as a cable technician.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Edmund P. Meade.

Survivors include his loving wife Barbara A. Meade; his beloved children Patricia Meade, Cheryl Kirk, Mary Coffman, and Kevin Meade; ten grandchildren; his siblings John Thomas Meade of FL, William P. Meade of NC along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

Pallbearers will be Kevin Meade, Tom Edwards, James McGeough, Rich Coffman, Gary Wingard, and Alan Gremlich.
