Patricia Edgar Greeff

Patricia Edgar Greeff died July 22, 2024, in Strasburg, VA.   She was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 22, 1939, the daughter of Frances Ring Edgar and William John Edgar, Jr.  A graduate of Lake Erie College (1962), she began her career in New York City with Franklin Book Programs, an international book publishing development program.  Subsequently she became Secretary and an administrator of the John D. Rockefeller III Fund, dedicated to Asian-American cultural relations.   Her greatest interests and volunteer efforts involved education and historic preservation.  She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Pieter Greeff, brothers Robert and George Edgar, two stepsons, Christopher and Charles, and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother William.

Burial services will be private.
