Nettie Moreno Felimer 90, of Star Tannery, VA passed away Monday, February 2, 2009 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, John & L. Elaine Jackson in Star Tannery, VA. She was born in Makaweli, Kauai, Hawaii on July 23, 1918 the only daughter of the late Augustine & Olahea Louisa Mabalo Moreno of Kauai, Hawaii. She was the wife of the late, Perfecto Laugan Felimer from the Philippines who was retired from Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu, Hawaii where he worked as a civilian civil service employee. Survivors include her children, Gloria Ann Ebalaroza of Waipahu, Oahu, Hawaii, Richard Felimer of Pearl City, Oahu, Hawaii, Anita Lorraine Lafrenz of Mahwah, New Jersey, Rosa Linda Litton of Alpharetta, Georgia, Leonora Elaine Jackson of Star Tannery, Virginia, Eugene "Gene" Felimer of Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii, Arlene Joanne Jansen of Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii, and Natalie Louise Felimer of Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii; nineteen grandchildren; thirty three great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren A funeral service for Nettie Moreno Felimer will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 6, 2009 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Woodstock, Virginia with Father Wilhelm Ettner officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mililani Memorial Park, Mililani, Oahu, Hawaii. The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home from 6-8:00 P. M. Thursday evening.
