Millie Pearl Dodson, age 71, a resident of Toms Brook, VA passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital. A memorial service for Mrs. Dodson will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Liberty Baptist Church with Pastor Keith Warren officiating. She was born in Warren County, VA on January 18, 1945 a daughter of the late Raymond Rector and Mildred Kathleen Miller Atkins, Sr. She attended Liberty Baptist Church and was a retired Baker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Walker Dodson and three brothers, William Atkins, Raymond R. "Bud" Atkins, Jr. and Richard Allen "Ricky" Atkins. Survivors include her siblings, Elizabeth Anderson of Toms Brook, VA, Becky Coates and husband Tom of Toms Brook, VA, Jane Lambert and husband, Larry of Strasburg, VA, Linda Nichols and husband Danny of Martinsburg, WV, Ronnie Atkins and wife, Mary of Strasburg, VA, Debbie Chapman and husband, Edward of Strasburg, VA; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Sally.
