Mildred Madeline (Miller) Ferrell

Mildred Madeline Miller Ferrell 94, of Springfield, VA passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Green Spring Village, Springfield, VA.

A graveside service for Mrs. Ferrell will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2019 at the Fishers Hill Cemetery, Strasburg, VA.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday at 12:00 noon and go in procession to the cemetery for the service.

Mrs. Ferrell was born October 18, 1924 a daughter of the late Ora Aldine and Anna Palmer Miller. Mrs. Ferrell was a graduate of Strasburg High School, trained as a Nursing Assistant, and worked for the Children's Country Home in Washington, DC.  She later worked for C & P as long-distance operator. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Andrew Ferrell and a brother, Sonny Miller.

Survivors include her children, Vickey Lynne Hoy and husband James, Terri Lane Brown and husband Robert, Richard Tracy Ferrell and wife Gina and Bronson Colin Ferrell and wife Lisa; her grandchildren, Justin Andrew Hoy, V. Lane Hoy, Richard Shane Ferrell, Monica Laura Patrucco, Alessandro Patrucco and Madison Summer Ferrell; her sister in law, Cathy Miller along with a nephew Randy Miller and a niece, Linda Miller.
