Mary Ann Ordakowski Hockman 75, a resident of New Market and formerly of Strasburg, Virginia passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Life Care Center of New Market Virginia,

A memorial service for Mrs. Hockman will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2017 at Gravel Springs Lutheran Church with Rev. Sonya Williams-Giersch officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Springs Cemetery.

She was born in Arlington County, VA on December 17, 1941 a daughter of the late John and Lillian Moore Ordakowski. She was a member of the Lebanon Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Priscilla Hart.

Survivors include her children, Anne Marie Tevault and husband Glen of Toms Brook, VA, Wendy Leigh Colvin of Maurertown, VA and DJ Hockman, Jr. and wife Tiffany of Strasburg, VA; Grandchildren, Butchie Pie Hodson, Thadie Bo Bad Hodson and wife Barbara, Wyatt, Gunnar, Devin and Tobey; great grandchildren, Kay and Tyler; one sister Ruth Reynolds of Wardensville, WV.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m.
