Marie Susan (Tinker) Hollis

Marie Susan Tinker Hollis 79, of Middletown, VA passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Hidden Springs Senior Living in Bentonville, VA. 

Mrs. Hollis was born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 22, 1945, the daughter of the late Forrest LeMoyne and Edna Grimm Tinker.  Marie was a long time member of First Presbyterian Church of Bentleyville, PA  where she served the church as treasurer for many years, along with teaching Sunday school.  She was also a Cub Scout Leader.  Marie was a wonderful homemaker and nurse. She took care of many people throughout her life.  She enjoyed bowling, card games, puzzles, and traveling all 50 states. Some of her favorite foods were  chocolate and ice cream. She will be missed by all. 

Survivors include her husband of 57 years Harold Hollis, her children Mark Hollis (Heidi), Robb Hollis, her grandchildren Jillian Oakes, Kiersten Hollis, Lauren Hollis, Nathan Hollis, and her sister Judy Menges, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. 

A celebration of life for Mrs.  Hollis will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2025, at the Middletown Presbyterian Church 7960 Senseney Ave. in Middletown, VA.
