Hello to Margaret's Family or I should say Peggy as everyone else called her.  Roland  (my brother-in-law) and Margaret worked together at the Safeway stores and remained the best of friends until his passing eighteen years ago Before his passing he brought  her up to visit with us.  We became telephone buddies at that time, She called me every Saturday morning at ten o'clock and often during the week,   The last time she called me a few weeks ago she was just so terribly ill and I advised her to get to the doctor right away. I knew the following week when she did not call me something was wrong.  I called her home phone and left messages hoping someone would see it and call me.  I told my Daughter that I was going to call the police there and ask for a courtesy call to check on her.  As we had done this one time before when we were checking on Roland.  They were so nice and it was not long before  her Sister-in-Law called me and told me about her.  Then a few days later she called
.me to let me know the bad news I did not want to hear,  I was so glad that she let me know, This just broke my heart as we had been here for each other for over eighteen years and when I answered her call she would all ways start with "Hey----Mississippi".  She insisted that I give her my Daughter's phone number in case something happened to me she  could call her because I was six years older than her, I should have gotten a contact number from her but failed to  do so.  I do know that she loved her Family and would tell me about all of the goodies she would receive for all occasions. She also told  me about  her dear fiend, Eileen, and all of the things they did together.  Also her friend that helped her so much  in her house work and she would tell me how lucky she was to have her..  Then there was Pierie (name?) who helped her in anything she asked of him.  Then there was Harry,, her car, that I heard so much about.  I have not met any of you, but somehow  it seems as I have as she  shared so much of all of you with me, through the years.
I am so sorry about. her passing  and your loss.  I know she is in a better place now, and she all  ways told me that she did not have a problem leaving here, so I know she is in Heaven with her other loved ones, Every Saturday morning at ten o'clock I will all ways remember her and cherish all of our telephone chats.  This is sort of long but I wanted  you to know some of the things we shared and I will miss her forever.  My heart and prayers go to all of you.  Please stay safe and continue to love each other..  Any information about her that you  could send to me would be greatly appreciated Love, Barbara

To the family & friends of Margaret; I am so sorry, for the suffering she went through. We 1st. met Margaret, through my uncle (Unkie) Roland Peter Quirk, Sr., years back, when he brought her to visit us, in Vicksburg, Mississippi. They were friends & worked together, for years at Safeway Grocery in VA. After Unkie passed in 2003, we remained in contact with her & stayed friends. Mother, next door, Barbara Quirk, talked to her 2 times a week, until she got the Covid & went into the hospital. When Margaret would call, she'd always start her conversation, saying; "Heyyy Mississippi." We sure will miss her & the talks. May she be at peace in heaven, with Unkie, & the Angels. I hope someone sees this & will post a picture of her, on here. Thanks. If any of you want to contact me, my phone number is 601-994-4661. We sure would like to know where she's burried, or if she's cremated. Sylvia Quirk-Brown, Vicksburg, MS. 39180. or e-mail
