Mae Virginia (Spiker) Miller

Mae Virginia Miller, age 90, a resident of Middletown, VA passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at her residence. 

A funeral service for Mrs. Miller will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 4, 2021 at Stover Memorial Chapel with Reverend Fred Mauck officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lebanon Church Cemetery. 

Mrs. Miller was born in Shenandoah County, VA on August 26, 1930 a daughter of the late Preston Isiah and Anna Virginia Wymer Spiker.  She was a member of the Meadow Mills Church of the Brethren and worked as a seamstress in various sewing factories.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two children, Travis Hunter Miller and Tamela Mae Curry and three siblings, Mary Rudolph, Rebecca Hoover and Earl Spiker.

Survivors include her husband Robert Luther Miller of Middletown, VA; her children Wayne Luther Miller of Middletown, VA and Robert Preston Miller of Strasburg, VA; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; her siblings, Gladys Ritenour of Strasburg, VA, Juanita Watts of Middletown, VA, Esther Cooper of Woodstock, VA and Roland Spiker of Middletown, VA along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Pallbearers will be Nathan Miller, Branson Miller, Daniel Miller, Scott Miller, Hannah Curry and Ryan Reid.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Watts, Gary Bly, Chuck Hoover and Hank Hoover.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 6-8 p.m.
