MADOLYN M. PANGLE MADOLYN EDITH MILLER PANGLE, age 95, of Strasburg passed away Friday, March 13, 2009 at her home. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Stover Funeral Home, Strasburg with Reverend Richard J. Goeres and Reverend Edward P. Winkler officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Strasburg. Mrs. Pangle was born February 20, 1914 at Top Not in Shenandoah County, a daughter of the late Franklin O. and Lura Bly Miller. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Strasburg, worked for sixteen years at the Strasburg Silk Mill and retired from Aileen, Inc. in 1974. She was the wife of the late Frank Wesley Pangle, Sr. and the last surviving member of a family of ten children. Surviving are her son, Frank Wesley Pangle, Jr. and wife, Virginia Kronk Pangle of Strasburg; her daughter, Lura Joyce Ruffner and husband, John E. Ruffner of Strasburg; four grandchildren, Dwight Wesley Pangle and wife, Lisa, Dwain Wesley Pangle and wife, Bessie, Cynthia Lura Wasson and husband, Jim and John Adam Ruffner; five great-grandchildren, Craig Pangle and wife, Kissy, Amber Pangle, Jessica Pangle, Allie Pangle, Evan Pangle and Leslie Church; four step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a great-granddaughter, Britney Pangle. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and Rodney Racey and Jim Wasson.
