Linda Kay (Devers) Renner

Linda Devers Renner, 79, of Strasburg, VA passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at her residence. 

A funeral service for Mrs. Renner will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Restoration Fellowship Church with Pastor Scott Priest and Rev. David Nesselrodt officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery in Strasburg.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m.

Linda was born in Winchester, VA on September 17, 1944, a daughter of the late Harry Clark and Alice Virginia Racey Devers, Sr.  She was a graduate of Strasburg High School, worked as a childcare provider, and attended Restoration Fellowship Church in Strasburg, VA.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Marshall Renner; a granddaughter Brooke Nesselrodt and siblings Larry, Donald, and Charles Devers, Fay Smith, Carol Harrold, and Nancy Stickley.

Survivors include her children Robyn Renner (Troy Johnson) of Strasburg, VA, Rhonda Nesselrodt (Aaron) of Winchester, VA, and Miranda Orndorff of Strasburg, VA; her grandchildren Brittany Foy (Jimmy Troxell), Breanna Stickley (Dayne Schlentner), Brynna Nesselrodt, Ty Messick, and Madison Orndorff; her great-grandchildren Henley Johns, Mason Foy, Briar Schlentner, Eli Troxell, and Ryder Troxell; one brother Harry Clark “Boobie” Devers, Jr. (Tina), a brother-in-law Cecil Smith along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. 

Pallbearers will be Aaron Nesselrodt, Ty Messick, Jimmy Troxell, Dayne Schlentner, Boobie Devers, and Aaron Orndorff.

Memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601.
