William "Lee" Walls 70 of Toms Brook passed away Friday, July 24, 2009 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on November 22, 1938 in Dayton, OH a son of the late John Edward Walls and Margaret Elaine Brown Fullmer. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Korean War, and was a member of the Shenandoah, Valley American Legion Post No. 77. He was a member of the Strasburg Moose Lodge # 403, and the Massanutten Eagles. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father, David Paul Fullmer; brother, Robert Edward Walls, and a grandson, Justin Boswell. Survivors include his wife and best friend, Shirley Walls of Toms Brook Step-mother, Dorothy Walls of Winchester, OH; his mother-in-law, Louise McCoy of Cable, OH; his daughters, Lisa Walls of Peebles, OH, Beth Bruno and husband, Brant of Maurertown, VA and Dorice Dee Walls of Dayton, OH; his sons, Jeff Geer of South Charleston, OH, and Scott Walls of Dayton, OH; grandchildren, Robbi Boswell, Michael Walls, Chad Walls, Sarah Bruno, Brittany Geer, Logan Bruno, and Donovan Geer; sisters, Elaine Marlow, and Roberta Hill; brothers, Michael Fullmer, Patrick Fullmer, and James Walls all of Ohio. Lee touched many lives and had numerous dear friends, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A funeral service for Mr. Walls will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Monday, July 27, 2009 at the Stover Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Dowdy officiating. The family will receive friend one hour prior to the services.
