Kenneth L. Williams Kenneth Lome "Ken" Williams, age 81, of Strasburg passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital, Woodstock. Mr. Williams was born January 7, 1931 in the Riverton Community of Warren County, a son of the late William Russell and Hazel Elzora Sealock Williams. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served aboard the USS Des Moines. He was a Plankowner CA134, meaning he was the first to serve aboard a ship when it is commissioned, and served during the Korean War. He was employed by Capitol Airlines/United Airlines for 36 years as an A&P mechanic, was a member of the Strasburg Moose Lodge No. 403, Shenandoah American Legion Post No. 77, Strasburg, life member of the Elks Lodge No. 2382, Front Royal and Retired United Airlines Employee Association (RUAEA). Surviving are his wife, Sue Brown Williams; his sons, Kevin Williams and wife, Bonnie and Mark Williams and wife, Shelley, all of Strasburg; a sister, Betty Jane Sealock of Front Royal; five grandchildren, Jennifer Renee Hallin and husband, Dan, Jared Kevin Williams and wife, Karen, Morgan Lane Williams and wife, Kristian, Hayden Lane Williams and Seth Mitchell Williams; four great-grandchildren, Nora and Charlotte Hallin, Natalie Livingood and Ryan Williams; two step-great-grandchildren, Pyper Walker and Jeremiah Haun. The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home, Strasburg on Tuesday 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Graveside rites will be conducted 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Riverview Cemetery, Strasburg with Robert E. Ford officiating. Military honors will be conducted by Shenandoah American Legion Post No. 77, Strasburg.
