Katherine Amelia Foxx Strickler Lowman, age 100, of Baltimore Maryland, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Medstar Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD.
A graveside service for Mrs. Lowman will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Riverview Cemetery with Elder Gary Utz officiating.
Mrs. Lowman was born in the Oranda community of Strasburg, VA on May 15, 1920 a daughter of the late John Allen Foxx and Amelia Funk Foxx Gearing. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church of Waterlick, VA. A graduate of Middletown High School and was a retired sales representative for the Mano Swartz Furriers in Towson, MD. She was the wife of the late Holland B. Strickler and Morris Lee Lowman.
Survivors include her son A. Ross Strickler and wife Darlene of Baltimore, MD and two grandchildren, Jonathan Ross Strickler and Kathleen Marie Strickler; her great grandchildren, Katherine Elizabeth Strickler, Amelia Marie Strickler, and Cody James Strickler along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was the last living member of her immediate family.
