Karen Faye (Perrell) Burgess

Karen Faye Burgess, 74, of Maurertown, VA passed away November 14, 2025, in Harrisonburg, VA. 

Mrs. Burgess was born August 25,1951, to the late Paul and Kathleen Roberson Perrell.  Karen had a love and passion for art. She was very proud of her artistic works be it ceramics, jewelry or even a painting she created. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.  

In addition to her husband, George, she is survived by her siblings, Paul Perrell of Romney, WV, Cheryl Davis (Ronald) of Rio, WV, Mitzi Hamilton of Gordonsville, VA and Terri Young (Jeff) of Petersburg, WV, Lois Perrell of Petersburg, WV, and her close friends Vicki and Robert Rutherford.

Services for Mrs. Burgess will be private.

Memorials may be made in her name to the Church of Christ at Mountain View, 153 Narrow Lane, Winchester, VA 22602.
