Joyce Ann Weeks 70, a resident of Strasburg, VA passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the Blue Ridge Hospice In-Patient Care Center, Winchester, VA. A memorial service for Joyce will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Mt. Olive United Methodist Church with Rev. Kathleen Haynes officiating. Joyce was born in Shenandoah County, VA on August 26, 1947 a daughter of the late Grover Hugh and Anna Belle Hoover Harmon. She was a member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, Strasburg Women of the Moose, Strasburg Eagles and Shenandoah American Legion Post 77, Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, David Allen Davis and a grandson, Grant Davis Rutz. Survivors include her husband, William Edward "Bill" Weeks of Strasburg, VA; her daughter, Ariana Davis Rutz and husband Brian of Strasburg, VA; her grandchildren, Cody Allen Davis of CA, Trenton Harmon Davis and wife Hannah of TX and Camren Dean Rutz of Strasburg, VA; her sisters, Betty Wakeman and husband Bob of Maurertown, VA, Norma Dano of Strasburg, VA, Sue Walker of Strasburg, VA, Gloria Campbell and husband Tommy of Toms Brook, VA, and Kathy Denton and husband Terry of Strasburg, VA along with several nieces and nephews.
