John Michael Warfield, Jr., age 44, a resident of Fort Valley, VA passed away suddenly Saturday, September 29, 2012 in Fort Valley. A memorial service for Mr. Warfield will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Stover Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Howard officiating. Burial with full military honors will be conducted at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. He was born on May 30, 1968 in Frankfurt, Germany. He was a retired Hospital Corpsman/Search and Rescue Specialist with the US Navy and a veteran of the Persian Gulf War. After retirement from the US Navy, John became very interested in Paranormal Investigations and was the Lead Investigator for the DCMAG (D.C. Metro Area Ghost Hunters). John was the loving father of Courtney Michelle Warfield of Fort Valley; loving son to Cynthia and Albert Kupres of Clarksville, MD and John and Mary Warfield of Baltimore, MD. The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
