James Dale Stiltner, age 66, a resident of Strasburg, Virginia passed away Monday, October 21, 2103 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA. A funeral service for Mr. Stiltner will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 25, 2013 at Stover Memorial Chapel with Pastor Douglas Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Fishers Hill Cemetery, Fishers Hill, VA. He was born in Grundy, Virginia on July 14, 1947 a son of the late Christopher C. "Lum" and Beulah Childress Stiltner. He was a devoted husband, Loving father, and proud grandfather. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by siblings, Becky Baldwin, Arlene Wheeler, Virgil Stiltner, and Randy Stiltner. Survivors include his loving wife, Lou Ann Stiltner; a son, Timothy Andrew "Andy" Stiltner and wife, Mandy, and a granddaughter, Ellie Larsyn Stiltner all of Strasburg, VA; siblings, Jerry Stiltner, Judy Schubert, Larry Stiltner, John Stiltner, Diann Blankenship, Margaret Brown, Christopher Stiltner, Mary Kay Pierce, and Jack Snyder; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 7-9 P.M.
