Jack D. Marteney 86, of Woodstock, VA passed away Friday, November 07, 2014 at Winchester Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be conducted in Texas at a later date. He was born in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania on January 28, 1928 a son of the late Simon L. and Annie Brown Marteney. Mr. Marteney was retired from Pittsburgh Plate Glass. Survivors include his loving wife, Charlotte C. Marteney of Woodstock, VA; his children, Sherrie L. Gnagey and husband Larry P. of Edinburg, VA, and Don E. Marteney of Wichita Falls, TX; grandchildren, Justin Marteney, Jason Marteney, Michael Marteney, Cory Gnagey, and Chet Gnagey; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Nancy Shaffer of Somerset, PA and Paul Marteney of Meyersdale, PA Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
