Iva Mae Orndorff, 93, a resident of Strasburg, VA went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Her final days were spent surrounded by family.
A graveside service for Mrs. Orndorff will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Panorama Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m.
Iva Mae was born in Shenandoah County, VA on February 18, 1930, a daughter of the late George William and Martha Jane Neff Kline. She was a member of the Strasburg Presbyterian Church, worked at Aileen, Inc., Shenandoah Fiberglass, and served as a volunteer for the Strasburg Museum. On May 18, 1950, she married Kenneth “Bud” Orndorff, Sr. They were married for 54 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Melvin “Bud” Orndorff, Sr. and siblings Lena Kline Hodson, Maynard Kline, Robert Kline, Nina Kline Ramey, Stella Kline Cummins, Catherine Kline Snarr and a step grandson Jesse Bolstridge.
Survivors include her children Kenneth “Kenny” Orndorff, Jr. (Jo Ann) of Strasburg, VA, Sandra Baker of Maurertown, VA and Vickie Hansbrough (Hugh “Buzzie”) of Florida; grandchildren Katie Shifflett (Matt), Mandy Bolstridge (Ronnie), Chris Neff (Katie), Chad Neff, Nick Hansbrough (Jennifer), Kelsey Clendenin (Cody); great grandchildren Cane Shifflett, Charlee Shifflett, Jordan Mumaw (Nathan), Kendra Bolstridge, Camden Neff, Carter Neff, Maverick Neff, Ansley Hansbrough, Ava Hansbrough, and Cayden Clendenin.
“When we lose someone, we love, we must not learn to live without them. We must learn to live with the love they left behind”. The family of Iva Mae would like to offer their sincere thanks to everyone for their continuing prayers and support.
