Ina Catherine Mowery Bowers 86, a resident of Middletown, VA passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at her residence. A graveside service for Mrs. Bowers will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 3, 2016 in the Mount Carmel Cemetery, Middletown, VA with Rev. Wendell Schurtz and Richard Ward officiating. She was born on May 4, 1930 in Middletown, VA a daughter of the late Charles Edward and Frenchie Catherine Miller Mowery. She was a member of the Walnut Springs Christian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Benton Beverly Bowers. Survivors include her children, Jerry B. Bowers, Judy Lynn Bowers Venable and husband Keith all of Middletown, VA. Pallbearers will be Terry Mowery, John McKay, Edward McKay, Cory Crabill, Marshall Stickley, Danny Coffman, Richard Ward and Chris Venable.
