Hubert "Joe" Drummond, Jr. 76, a resident of Strasburg, VA passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center. Winchester, VA.

A funeral service for Mr. Drummond will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2017 at St. Stephen Lutheran Church with Rev. Heidi David-Young and Rev. James Baseler officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery.

He was born in Strasburg, VA on February 4, 1941 a son of the late Hubert & Ella Bauserman Drummond, Sr. Mr. Drummond was a former employee of Shockey, Inc. and worked for Shenandoah County Waste and Recycle as a site attendant. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy L. Drummond.

Survivors include his wife, Susie Ryman Drummond of Strasburg, VA; two sons, Brian Drummond and David Drummond both of Strasburg; two grandchildren, Mary Beth Drummond and Cameron Drummond; his siblings, John Drummond and wife Ann of Winchester, VA, Mary Jane Jenkins, Laura Belle Sonner and husband Alvin of Strasburg, VA and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brian Drummond, David Drummond, Darrin Pingley, Ray Heishman, Ray Ritenour, Steve Drummond and Jonathan Drummond.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday evening at Stover Funeral Home.
