Gregory J. McDonald, Sr. Gregory John McDonald, Sr., age 51, of Strasburg passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013 at his home. A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday at the New Market Seventh Day Adventist Church, 62 W. Lee Hwy., New Market with Pastor Buz Menhardt officiating. Mr. McDonald was born February 15, 1962 in France, a son of the late Donnie L. and Constance "Connie" Norris McDonald. He was a member of New Market Seventh Day Adventist Church, the NSSA (North-South Skirmish Association), was retired from VDOT with 23 years of service and served in the United States Army. Surviving are his wife, Lisa Ann Clem McDonald; four sons, Gregory J. McDonald, Jr., Stephen L. McDonald, Timothy E. McDonald, all of Woodstock and Riley J. McDonald of Strasburg; two step-children, Jason Rush and wife, Dana of Fort Valley and Jami Toman and husband, Billy of Strasburg; two brothers, Don L. McDonald, Jr. of Edinburg and James McDonald and wife, Christine McDonald of Edinburg; two sisters, C. Elaine Reedy and husband, James of Strasburg and Denise Hamous and husband, Steve of Inwood, WV; ten grandchildren, Dakota McDonald, Virginia McDonald, Hattie McDonald, Dixie McDonald, Hayden McDonald, Jackson McDonald, Logyn Rush, Lincoln Rush, Luci Toman and Colby Toman.
