Goldie Frances Williams McDonald, forever 39 years old, a resident of Strasburg, VA passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at her residence in her husband, Augie's, loving arms. A funeral service for Mrs. McDonald will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Stover Memorial chapel with Rev. Sonya Williams-Giersch officiating. Burial will follow at Panorama Memorial Gardens, Warren County, VA. She was born in Warren County, Virginia a daughter of the late Bessie Virginia Updike Williams and was a retired bookkeeper with Funk & Crabill. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by a daughter, Candace G. Ferguson; her siblings, Nelson Lyle Williams, Irene Lake, Amon Williams and great-grandchild, Cody Childs. Surviving are her husband, Roger L. "Augie" McDonald; a daughter Donna Leeth and husband, Gary of Strasburg; son-in-law, Tim Ferguson all of Strasburg, VA; grandchildren Wendy Williams and husband Tim "Tim-Bob", Landon Ritenour, Amanda Ritenour, Derek Miller and Brooke Miller and great-grandchildren, Taylor Childs and Kayla Williams. Pallbearers will be Landon Ritenour, Derek Miller, Tim Ferguson, Gary Leeth, Douglas Kern and Tim "Tim-Bob" Williams. Honorary pallbearer will be Jeremiah Ferguson.
