Gary Allen Peacemaker

Gary Allen “Monkey” Peacemaker, 67, of Winchester, VA passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, at Rose Hill Health & Rehab in Berryville, VA. 

Monkey was born in Winchester, VA on September 28, 1957, a son of the late Clinton Martin and Shirley Irene Neff Peacemaker and worked as a concrete finisher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings Clinton “Peanut” Peacemaker, Brenda McWilliams, Annie Marie Baeza, and Melissa Peacemaker. 

Survivors include his sister Helen Marie Peacemaker (Allen Putman) of Woodstock, VA along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

A funeral service for Monkey will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Stover Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Walnut Springs Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Benjamin Putman, Adrian “Tank” Putman, William Putman, and Josh Putman.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home and Crematory on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m.
