Gail Bly Gochenour, age 67, of Strasburg passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Winchester Medical Center. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Stover Funeral Home, 177 N. Holliday St., Strasburg. Gail was born February 17, 1948 in Winchester, a daughter of the late Samuel Raymond and Rebecca Lillian Mowery Bly. She had been employed for a number of years at Filter Media, Winchester and was a past president of the local union. She had a great love for animals including her horses, dogs and birds. Surviving are her husband, Glenn Allen "Speedy" Gochenour; her sisters, Colleen Loy and husband, Edward of Winchester, Sharon Gano and husband, John of Cross Junction and Bonnie Markley and husband, Rick of Strasburg; a special friend as close to them as a son, Nathan Jenkins.
