Frances Bible Robinson

Frances Bible Robinson 88, a resident of Strasburg, VA passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Harrisonburg Health & Rehabilitation Center, Harrisonburg, VA. 

A memorial service for Mrs. Robinson will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Stover Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Haynes officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  

Frances was born in Cave, West Virginia on July 26, 1932, a daughter of the late Martin Luther and Ada May Wilfong Moyers.  She was a member of the Strasburg United Methodist Church, Strasburg Women of the Moose 1314, Strasburg American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and the Strasburg Eagles 4186.  She was employed at Aileen Inc., Avtex Corp. and AHL Services.  Frances was cared for by Continuing Care prior to her move to Harrisonburg Health & Rehab.  

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her first husband, Forest Lee Bible; her second husband Luther M. “Shorty” Robinson, Jr.; a daughter Sherry Lynn Funk; a grandson James Allen “Jimmy” Ferguson, Jr.; three sisters, Shirley Vandevander, Cornelia Pitsenbarger, and Allene Moyers; two brothers Eugene Moyers and Carl Moyers; son in law Landon Shaw.

Survivors include her son Darrell Lee Bible; her daughter Debra Ann Shaw both of Strasburg, VA; her grandsons Chris bible and Dana Bible; her great-granddaughters Krista Ferguson, Morgan Bible, Haley Bible, and Anna Bible; one great-grandson Marcus Ferguson; three great-great-granddaughters Clair, Chanel and Chole Lindamood; and one brother Charles Moyers along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

The family would like to thank Legacy Hospice of Harrisonburg for the care and compassion shown to the family during this difficult time.
